Behind the scenes of upcoming animated short film Tuk Tuk!

Go behind the scenes of Climate Spring-backed animation short film Tuk Tuk! as the fantastic Sanjeev Bhaskar (Yesterday, The Kumars) and Charithra Chandran (Bridgerton) step into the studio for a voiceover session to bring to life the lead characters.

We’re excited to share a glimpse behind-the-scenes of Tuk Tuk!, a new short animated film by Neeraja Raj - winner of Climate Spring’s 2024 Climate Short Animation Film Competition, in partnership with Lowkey Films and TK-FX.

Currently in production with the support of a £30,000 Climate Spring production grant and in-kind support from TK-FX and Lowkey Films, Tuk Tuk! is set in the solarpunk city of Mumbai, where spirited inventor Lila and her ailing grandfather Sudhakaran race against time to build a revolutionary flying e-tuk-tuk, in response to the climate crisis.

Earlier this month, we were thrilled to have our first voiceover session featuring the fantastic Sanjeev Bhaskar (Yesterday, The Kumars) and Charithra Chandran (Bridgerton), who bring the lead characters to life. Stay tuned for more, as Tuk Tuk! moves through production.
