Civic Studios partner with Climate Spring to develop new microdrama

We're thrilled to share the release of a new microdrama, Spice & Soul from Civic Studios produced in association with Climate Spring with episodes releasing on Instagram from 9th September.

The seventeen-episode microdrama is a romantic series starring Gaurav Alugh and Mrinmayee Godbole in the leading roles. The series will address sustainability in food production, our relationship to the land and the people who produce our food while tackling corporate greed.

When a fiercely ambitious young head chef is forced by her corporate employer to source from a stubborn organic farmer, the collision of her perfectionism and his principles reshapes how she sees food — and herself. But as their worlds and hearts entangle, she discovers the company selling sustainability is quietly destroying the very land and people that make it real.
