Set in Wales against the backdrop of a blistering heatwave, The Rapture follows forensic psychologist Gabs Fox as she meets 17-year-old Bethany Krall in a high-security psychiatric hospital. Convicted of murdering her mother, Bethany insists she's innocent...and claims she can predict the future.
We'll explore how the team behind The Rapture brought Liz Jensen's bestselling novel to screen, and how climate themes were utilised to heighten the drama, enhance the story and reflect our changing world.
The Rapture is a Mammoth Screen production now available to watch on BBC iPlayer and BBC One.
